Common Signs a Job Is a Scam
• They claim to work for a real company but use a completely different email domain.
• No real face shown on camera only Teams or WhatsApp calls with bad connection or no video
• They offer to send equipment, and tell you to deposit a check to purchase the equipment.
• Ask you to pay through Cash App, Zelle, or Bitcoin.
• No real company website, LinkedIn page, or employees you can actually verify
• Give hard deadlines specifically around depositing a check or sending money
• The recruiter has no profile picture or uses an AI modified Image of the owner.
• Onboarding documents or NDA look off and don’t match a real company.
